“ One of the best ice cream ive ever had locally. They were pretty short staffed when I went but the girl who made my ice cream, Bridget, was such a sweetheart and did an amazing job. More staffing would be nice but the pricing was pretty decent, I will definitely be coming back again. ”
“ Started coming here after Koch Club baseball at Forbes Hill about 50 years ago. Its always good and the workers are friendly. ”
“ Love love love this place. During the summer I come here once a week to get my soft serve ice cream fix. If you are like me, there is no substitute for soft serve. There portions are huge and even a small is very large! I always get the small vanilla with rainbow sprinkles. Classic and delicious. The Italian Ice is also very good. I recommend Mango! In the peak of summer it can get super hot so you might want to ask for a cup with your cone, so everything doesnt melt off! Im a cone person myself Im constantly trying to keep from dripping the TONS of jimmies they put on all over myself. But so worth it! The staff is always friendly and quick so dont be daunted by the long lines you will see out front. There is no place to sit, so you can either take a short stroll or sit in your car. Montellos across the street has a few tables out front and they havent minded when we go sit there especially in the eveningnight as they are closing downclosed for the night Parking is available right out front though it can get dense with cars and people so you can also park across the street in Montellos. Im excited to try more of the things they offer, and the food! ”
“ Absolutely delish ice cream! I got the hard serve cookie dough in a kids size cup. Good portion for great value! Hope to try the food soon since I only tried the ice cream ... ”
“ Dairy Freeze is a wonderful ice cream stand by itself, and has been a Quincy staple for decades. Good soft serve and great staff. It doesnt rate well on atmosphere only because its a permanent ice cream stand in a small parking lot on a busy street with no seating. Ive heard locals praise their fish and chips, but it never wowed me. But its 5 stars within its own category of nonfancy old soft serve lunch joints. ”
“ My go to for soft serve. Best soft serve ice cream around. Their banana splits and hot fudge sundaes are good. They did forget my banana once in my split, but honestly, it was so busy I didnt bother to get in line and laughed it off. They were slammed that night and it was a mistake. Only issue is parking sometimes, but its fine to park across the street and walk over. The teen and young adult summer staff have always been friendly. ”
“ Great local place. Amazing prices for ice cream and great serving sizes for ice cream. Have not tried their other food hot dogsburgersfish. They support tap to pay. ”
“ Classic roadside stand for desserts and hot sandwiches. A friend recommended their grilled chili dogs, and they did not disappoint! The seared juicy dog was loaded with toppings on a perfectly toasted roll. I havent tried the ice cream yet, but the Italian ice was refreshing though I didnt expect it to look like a tiedye explosion. ”
